Season 8 through 11 - Quick success
The OCM cycle was very different back then. Once EEO managed to acquire a rider for 5k on the TM.
Basically, there was only serious cycling in Division 1 and there was a high ratio of dropouts as well, which must be the explanation for the quick successes.
The -to say it frankly- pretty untalented captain, the long-forgotten Jax de La Madrid (Good SP, None TQ and None FR) brought EEO into Div 1 - alone, without a Lead Out train.
However, in Div 1, he was not good enough, and EEO hired a Dutch 30+ rider from the TL - Raf van der Falk (VG SP and Small TQ and FR potentials). This was sufficient in those days.
Then came Ethan Churchill - a young Welsh rider, with Good SP and TQ and Average FR. EEO tried to sell this guy on the forum, but he was deemed not good enough. And it was him who propelled EEO into the Top 10.
Further sprinters were trained, Juancho Lorenzo from Portugal, a Slovenian sprinter with climbing abilities, there was no real plan at that time. But then, a young guy from Barbados was hired, he is 48 today and can still be found in the game: Dorian Mruk. With him, the next era began, but Eli was unaware of that ....

Great reading and very interesting!
This writing is so goooood #KeepItUp
Ethan was not wanted as an untrained talent, after his success it looked different...
Awesome read, keep them coming! :)
Not entirely true, I bought Ethan from you at the time ;). Didn't keep him that long though, raced him for probably one season I think. And I also bought Juancho Lorenzo from you a little later, he did quite well in Essex with two podium finishes.
Good old times, I survived in division two with a good sp good fr small tq small hl with a crap lo train. And this was when you were already number 1.
Good read this PRs. Keep them coming. Good all times, just see the results I got with an AV 37 SP (Vardon Frise).
